Athlete Bio

Jorge Luis Montes is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitor from El Paso, Texas, representing Warriors Lair MMA. He is currently a two-stripe white belt and has been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA for approximately a year and a half.

Jorge has built a 9–3 competition record, earning three gold medals, one silver medal, and two bronze medals. He is passionate about both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and mixed martial arts and continues to challenge himself through consistent training and competition.

Outside of the gym, Jorge enjoys playing video games and learning more about the combat sports he hopes to continue pursuing.
