PHENOM Athlete Support Program
Please read before submitting the form below.
The PHENOM Athlete Support Program connects dedicated competitors with businesses interested in helping offset competition fees, travel expenses, and related costs.
Because the program is still developing, support is not guaranteed. Athletes may be considered based on competition activity, professionalism, online presence, and their ability to represent the PHENOM brand positively.
This is not a traditional sponsorship where athletes receive free gear with no expectations. The goal is to help serious competitors build meaningful support from businesses while representing their academy, PHENOM, and their sponsors professionally.
Athlete Expectations
Athletes participating in the program should be willing to:
• Promote themselves through social media, photos, and competition content
• Engage with their community and represent themselves professionally
• Reach out to local businesses and direct sponsors to the PHENOM website
• Tag PHENOM and share content that helps increase program visibility
Competition Gear Requirements
For No-Gi, Grappling, and MMA events, athletes must agree in writing for each sponsored event to compete in PHENOM custom competition gear.
• Sponsor logos appear on the back of the rash guard and/or grappling shorts
• Athletes must wear the approved PHENOM competition gear during the event
PHENOM may also collaborate with the athlete’s home academy to include their gym logo on the competition uniform when appropriate.
GI Tournament Requirements
For GI tournaments:
• Sponsor patches must be sewn onto the uniform according to tournament rules (IBJJF or similar)
• Athletes must confirm their academy allows sponsor patches
• Uniforms must follow event patch placement limits
Sponsorship Contributions
All sponsorship contributions are collected and managed through PHENOM and distributed to the corresponding athlete for the approved event and competition expenses.
To maintain transparency and consistency, all sponsorship support must be coordinated through PHENOM.
Additional Requirements
• Athletes under 18 must have a parent or guardian communicate with PHENOM
• PHENOM reserves the right to review and adjust the program as it evolves
