BUSINESS SPONSORS FAQ
PHENOM Quarterly Business Partnership FAQ
What is the PHENOM Quarterly Business Partnership Program?
The program gives approved businesses promotional opportunities through PHENOM’s website, social media, branded apparel, participating athletes, and select events or campaigns. Available benefits depend on the partnership tier purchased.
How long does a quarterly partnership last?
Each partnership runs for three consecutive months beginning on the activation date confirmed by PHENOM. Benefits must be used during the active quarter and do not automatically carry forward.
Does my partnership automatically renew?
No. Partnerships do not automatically renew unless recurring billing is specifically authorized. Elite and Exclusive Partners receive priority renewal opportunities before their placements are offered to other businesses.
What partnership tiers are available?
PHENOM offers four quarterly tiers:
Supporter — $300 per quarter
Premium — $750 per quarter
Elite — $1,500 per quarter
Exclusive — $2,500 per quarter
Elite is limited to four businesses per quarter, and Exclusive is limited to two businesses per quarter.
Will every PHENOM athlete participate?
No. Not every athlete on the PHENOM roster participates in this program. PHENOM selects participating athletes, events, campaigns, apparel, and promotional opportunities at its discretion.
Selections may be based on athlete availability, competition schedules, sport, location, content availability, apparel needs, event regulations, and brand alignment.
Can I choose a specific athlete?
Quarterly Business Partnership packages do not guarantee participation by a particular athlete.
If your business wants to support a specific athlete, please use our Individual Athlete Sponsorship options. Individual sponsorship packages are designed specifically for businesses and supporters who want to sponsor one selected athlete for an event.
Does my partnership give me direct access to the athletes?
No. Purchasing a partnership does not create a direct contractual, employment, management, or endorsement relationship between your business and any PHENOM athlete.
All requests, content, apparel placements, and promotional activities must be coordinated through PHENOM. Businesses may not independently assign responsibilities to participating athletes.
Can businesses communicate directly with youth athletes?
No. Business Partners may not contact youth athletes directly regarding sponsorship responsibilities, promotional content, or partnership obligations.
Any approved communication involving a youth athlete must be coordinated through PHENOM and the athlete’s parent or legal guardian.
What types of social-media recognition may be provided?
Depending on the purchased tier, recognition may include:
- Thank-you posts
- Stories
- Business tags
- Sponsor graphics
- Business spotlights
- Reels
- Collaborative content
- Website recognition
- Other approved promotional formats
PHENOM determines the appropriate platform, format, scheduling, participating athletes, and creative direction for each benefit.
Which packages include dedicated sponsor reels?
Dedicated sponsor reels are included only with the following tiers:
- Elite: One dedicated sponsor reel per quarter
- Exclusive: Two dedicated sponsor reels per quarter
Reels may feature one or more participating athletes selected by PHENOM. Reel benefits do not guarantee participation by every athlete, publication on every platform, paid advertising, or a specific number of views.
How does logo placement work?
Logo placement depends on the purchased tier, available space, garment type, production schedule, participating athletes, and applicable competition or promotional rules.
PHENOM determines the final logo size, location, color treatment, garment, and participating campaign. Higher partnership tiers receive priority for larger and more visible placements.
Is logo placement on competition or walkout gear guaranteed?
No. Promotions, venues, athletic commissions, schools, teams, gyms, sanctioning organizations, and event organizers may restrict sponsor logos.
When a planned placement is prohibited or becomes unavailable, PHENOM may provide a reasonably comparable promotional opportunity when possible.
Will my logo appear on apparel for all PHENOM athletes?
No. Apparel benefits apply only to select PHENOM-produced campaign pieces and participating athletes chosen by PHENOM.
A quarterly package does not include apparel placement across the entire PHENOM roster unless PHENOM specifically agrees to it in writing.
What type of logo file should I provide?
Businesses should provide a clear, high-resolution logo, preferably in a vector format such as AI, EPS, SVG, or a print-quality PDF. A high-resolution PNG with a transparent background may also be accepted.
Low-quality, blurry, copyrighted, unauthorized, or unusable artwork may delay or prevent placement. Logos must be submitted by the deadline provided by PHENOM.
Can PHENOM modify my logo for apparel or promotional use?
PHENOM may make reasonable production adjustments, including resizing, simplifying, recoloring, or converting the logo for visibility, printing, embroidery, or placement purposes.
PHENOM will not not intentionally alter the business’s identity or meaning.
Can my business provide a discount or promotional offer?
Premium, Elite, and Exclusive Partners may have opportunities to provide an approved special offer for the PHENOM community.
All offers, discount codes, claims, and promotional language must be reviewed and approved by PHENOM before publication.
Does PHENOM guarantee views, followers, leads, or sales?
No. PHENOM does not guarantee a particular number of:
- Athletes or events
- Views or impressions
- Social-media followers
- Website visits
- Leads or customers
- Engagements or conversions
- Sales or revenue
- Media appearances
- Business results
Marketing performance may vary based on the platform, audience, campaign, athlete availability, event schedule, and other circumstances outside PHENOM’s control.
What happens if an athlete is injured or withdraws from an event?
Athlete injuries, illness, withdrawals, schedule changes, roster changes, and event cancellations may affect planned benefits.
When possible, PHENOM may substitute another participating athlete, event, campaign, content opportunity, or reasonably comparable benefit. These circumstances do not create an automatic right to a refund.
Are partnership purchases refundable?
No. All Quarterly Business Partnership purchases are final and non-refundable once the partnership is approved and activated.
Refunds are not provided because of event cancellations, athlete injuries, athlete withdrawals, roster changes, scheduling changes, promotional restrictions, social-media performance, business results, or a Partner’s decision not to continue.
If PHENOM cannot provide a material included benefit, PHENOM may provide a reasonably comparable substitute or account credit at its discretion.
Is every business eligible?
No. All businesses are subject to PHENOM’s review and approval.
PHENOM will not partner with competing fightwear or athletic-apparel brands or businesses that conflict with PHENOM’s values, athlete-welfare standards, legal obligations, or public image.
Restricted categories include businesses primarily promoting:
- Alcohol
- THC or marijuana
- Tobacco, nicotine, or vaping
- Illegal products, services, or activities
- Adult-oriented or sexually explicit content
- Hate, discrimination, harassment, or exploitation
- Deceptive practices or unsupported claims
- Products or activities that may create safety or reputational concerns
PHENOM retains sole discretion to approve or decline a prospective Partner.
What happens if my business is not approved?
Purchasing a package does not guarantee final acceptance.
If PHENOM declines the business before the partnership is activated and before any benefits are provided, the payment will be refunded. Once a partnership has been approved and activated, the standard no-refund policy applies.
Can PHENOM terminate an active partnership?
Yes. PHENOM may suspend or terminate a partnership if the Partner violates the program terms, misrepresents its business, submits unauthorized materials, fails to meet its obligations, or engages in conduct that could harm PHENOM, its athletes, or its reputation.
When termination results from the Partner’s conduct or violation, unused benefits may be forfeited without a refund.
What does category exclusivity mean?
Category exclusivity is available only with the Exclusive tier and must be confirmed by PHENOM in writing.
When approved, PHENOM will not accept another Exclusive-level quarterly Partner within the same specifically defined primary business category during the active term.
Category exclusivity does not automatically prevent PHENOM from working with lower-tier Partners, existing relationships, individual athlete sponsors, or businesses in broadly related industries.
Can my business use the PHENOM name and logo?
A Partner may only use the PHENOM name, logo, athlete images, videos, or partnership status in ways approved by PHENOM.
The partnership may not be presented in a way that suggests PHENOM or its athletes endorse claims, products, services, political positions, or activities beyond the specific partnership approved by PHENOM.
Is this considered a charitable donation or financial investment?
No. The Quarterly Business Partnership package is a purchase of promotional and sponsorship benefits.
It is not a charitable donation, ownership interest, financial investment, legal partnership, joint venture, employment relationship, or guarantee of financial return.
How do I become a PHENOM Business Partner?
Select your preferred quarterly tier, submit your business information and logo, review the complete Partnership Terms and Conditions, and complete your purchase.
PHENOM will review your submission and contact you regarding approval, activation, artwork requirements, and the next steps.
Where can I read the complete terms?
Please review the PHENOM Quarterly Business Partnership Terms and Conditions before purchasing. Purchase of a package confirms that you have read, understood, and accepted all applicable program terms.
